Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains how The Glow Ranking (“we”, “us”) handles information when you visit theglowranking.com and www.theglowranking.com.

Who controls your data

The Glow Ranking is operated by Margaret Wojewoda, who is the controller of personal data described in this policy. For privacy questions or requests, contact hello@theglowranking.com.

Information we process and why

We do not currently offer user accounts or a newsletter, and we do not use Google AdSense or other display advertising on the site. We do not sell personal information.

Service providers and international transfers

We use service providers only where needed to operate and measure the site, currently including:

These providers may process information outside your country, including outside the EEA or UK. Where data-protection law requires safeguards, transfers may rely on an adequacy decision, contractual safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses, or another lawful transfer mechanism. You can read Google’s explanation of data use on partner sites and the privacy information published by the destination retailer or provider.

When you first visit, a consent banner lets you Accept all, Reject all, or choose by category: Necessary (always on), Statistics, Marketing, and Preferences. Non-necessary cookies and storage controlled by the banner are used according to your choices. We use Google Consent Mode v2, so in the EEA, UK and Switzerland analytics and marketing storage are denied by default until you grant the relevant consent. Google tags may send cookieless measurement signals while storage is denied.

You can change or withdraw your consent at any time via the “Cookie settings” link in the footer. Your choice is stored in a first-party cookie (tgr_consent) and we ask again after about 12 months, or sooner if this policy materially changes.

In the EEA/UK, our legal basis for analytics and marketing cookies is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR, together with applicable ePrivacy rules); we do not rely on legitimate interest for non-necessary cookies there.

Subject to applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct or delete your personal data; restrict or object to processing; receive data you provided in a portable format; and withdraw consent at any time without affecting earlier lawful processing. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data-protection authority in the country where you live or work.

To exercise a right, email us using the address above. We may need to verify your identity before completing a request.

Data retention

We retain information only for as long as reasonably needed for the purposes described above:

We do not use personal data for solely automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects.

Children

The site is intended for a general audience and is not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe a child has provided personal data, contact us so that we can review and delete it where appropriate.

Changes

We may update this policy; the “last updated” date below reflects the latest version.
